  23. GRn can be used in two ways: online and offline. For online
  24. reading, it reads headers from the news server when it "scans
  25. the news tree". This is normally done at startup (which can be
  26. suppressed with the NoScan parameter) and whenever the "Rescan
  27. News Tree" button on the groups window is pressed.

  29. For offline reading, the news must already be on the local
  30. volume. It doesn't download the entire article and store it
  31. locally for you. That's the purpose for NNTPxfer (part of
  32. INetUtils).
